Scottish Indoor Rowing Championships

The Centre for Sport & Exercise at Heriot-Watt will be hosting the Scottish Indoor Rowing Championships for the third year in a row. Last year it attracted over 400 competitors from all over Scotland and the UK.

The event also plays host to the Scottish Universities Indoor Rowing Championships and the coveted Victor Ludorum trophy is awarded to the most successful University across the whole Championships.

The event continues to develop and this year sees the addition of sprint racing over 500 metres for open heavyweight and lightweight, men and women. Following a number of requests, the age restricted categories return to 1000 metre racing as per the 2008 event.
