Now is the time: Shaping the future - critical infrastructure, international development and supporting young engineers

Speaker: Professor Paul Jowitt; President of the Institution of Civil Engineers & Director of the Scottish Institute of Sustainable Technologies (SISTech).
Paul's speech will cover critical global issues that affect infrastructure, the built environment and development at an international scale. As Director of SISTech and Professor of Civil Engineering Systems, Paul has a wealth of experience and knowledge in the area.
His address will also outline his priorities during his tenure as President of the Institution of Civil Engineer. One focus is supporting young engineers of the future in recognition of the fact that they will be called upon to provide the future solutions to these global issues.
This address will be of value to anybody who works, or has an interest, in the built environment; planning; environmental; and engineering sectors.
