Bird Crime: investigating cases concerning the illegal killing of birds in Scotland
An Illustrated talk by Bob Elliot
Scotland is rightly proud of it’s natural heritage and has some of the most spectacular habitats and species in the world. Unfortunately, wildlife crime is still a problem in the 21st Century, and in some areas, Victorian attitudes prevail.
It's not all doom and gloom though, and you can help in the fight to stop these illegal practices. Bob’s talk will give pointers on what to look for when out in the countryside and he will report on some of the cases the society has been involved with.
Bob has been Head of the Investigations Team for RSPB Scotland since February 2007.
Entry Fee of £2 includes Tea/Coffee & Biscuits.
Venue: Lindsay Stewart Lecture Theatre, Napier University, Craiglochart, Edinburgh
Start Time: 19:30
