Talks from:
Harriet Lamb CBE, Director of the Fairtrade Foundation.
Betsy Reed, Director of the Scottish Fair Trade Forum.
Palestinian Olive Oil Producer from Zaytoun.
The day will also include workshops run by staff and students from institutions that have gained Fair Trade status as well as product stalls from local suppliers of Fair Trade goods.
The event is free to attend and will be hosted by Edinburgh University Students’ Association at Teviot Row House, Bristo Square, Edinburgh, EH8 9AL. Lunch is also included.
For Scotland to become a Fair Trade Nation, colleges and universities must help. So, come along to hear from colleagues that have gained Fair Trade status, share ideas and go back to your institution full of enthusiasm for taking Fair Trade forward.
