Power drumming workshop for children of staff at Heriot-Watt University

An innovative workshop using percussion to break down barriers to creating music is being held for children and friends of staff at Heriot-Watt University.

Instruments used will be recycled industrial materials such as big plastic drums, large gas pipes, metal tubes, and alloy car wheels amongst others.

The event runs from 14:00 to 16:30 and will be held in Lecture Theatre 4. It is suitable for children aged from 10 to 18.

Entry is free but places should be booked in advance.

The maximum number of participants is 25. Children of non staff who are associated with Heriot-Watt University are also welcome.
