Meet the Mathematicians

Pupils considering a career in maths can learn more about the wide-reaching application of the subject - in fields such as finance, medicine, risk-taking, and design - at an event in Edinburgh on Wednesday 7 April.

Meet the Mathematicians, to be held at the Royal Society of Edinburgh, will allow more than 100 S5 and S6 pupils to meet professional mathematicians and hear about some of the many applications of mathematics and the opportunities open to maths graduates.

This event is organised jointly by Heriot-Watt University and the University of Edinburgh.
