A changing world: The impact of science
This lecture will address the cyber and nano worlds in which we live and their impact on young mind as well as looking at some of the big issues that the 21st century will herald - a biotech world which will see dramatic changes in health and ageing, and how science can work together with politics and the media to confront and promote all that the technology of this remarkable new century has to offer.
Baroness Susan Greenfield CBE is a writer, broadcaster and expert on the brain. She is the
Professor of Pharmacology at Oxford University and a member of the House of Lords. Her well earned reputation as one of the most influential women in the world makes her an outstanding speaker on change and tomorrow’s people.
