Entitled "Linking Teaching, Learning, Research and Innovation for the 21st Century", the conference will investigate key themes of linking teaching with research, broadening the curriculum, internationalising the curriculum and linking it to a global environmental and development agenda, developing leadership qualities in students, improving the first year experience, focusing on formative assessment - and much more.

The keynote address, “Linking discipline-based research and teaching to benefit student learning”, will be offered by Mick Healey, Professor of Geography at the University of Gloucestershire and Director of the Centre for Active Learning.
