Are you a member of staff, a postgraduate or final year undergraduate? Do you want to start your own business? Or do you have a research idea that could be made commercial?

Then come along to the first seminar of the Heriot-Watt University ‘A Practical Guide to Business Start-up’ series, which will bring you professional advice and real-life experiences of transforming an idea into a successful business venture.

The event is chaired by Dr Olga Kozlova, Heriot-Watt Enterprise Creation Manager and two of Heriot-Watt University’s most successful entrepreneurs will share with you their first-hand knowledge of starting up a business. They are:

- Dr Dan Arnold COO, Epistemy

The seminar will be followed by the launch of the new Heriot-Watt University Business Plan competition.

A Practical Guide to Business Start-up will run on the last Monday of the month until September 2010
