Learning and Teaching Conference 2010

Entitled ‘Linking Teaching, Learning, Research and Innovation for the 21st Century’, this Heriot-Watt University conference will investigate key themes of linking teaching with research, broadening the curriculum, internationalising the curriculum and linking it to a global environmental and development agenda, developing leadership qualities in students, improving the first year experience, focusing on formative assessment - and much, much more.

The keynote address, ‘Linking discipline-based research and teaching to benefit student learning’, will be offered by Mick Healey, Professor of Geography at the University of Gloucestershire and Director of the Centre for Active Learning.
