PRINCE 2 training offered

Tuesday, April 20, 2010 Add event to Outlook calendar

The School of Management and Languages at Heriot-Watt University has teamed up with Brightedge Project Management Ltd to offer the industry renowned PRINCE2 Foundation and Practitioner training and qualifications.

PRINCE2 (Projects In Controlled Environments) is a de facto standard for project management practitioners. It is used extensively by the UK Government and is widely applied in both the public and private sector where it is used and recognised globally.

The PRINCE2 is a structured approach to project management that comprises processes, components and techniques. The PRINCE2 methodology can be applied to any type of project and can be tailored to suit any size or industry. It is this versatility and standardisation that makes PRINCE2 suitable for most organisations and creates high demand for PRINCE2 qualified practitioners.

The Foundation element will be delivered over the first three days of the course with examination at the end of day three. Day four will focus on the Practitioner element, with the examination one week later on day five of the course. This gives delegates a further week to revise for examination and provides the opportunity to address any questions to the experienced trainers.

The course is available starting on 20 April or 7 June, more details are available from the contacts below.

The course is being offered at an introductory fee of £1499. The Fee includes materials, examinations, lunch and refreshments.
