Information Event - The Edinburgh Centre for Climate Change
Wednesday, April 21, 2010

The Universities of Edinburgh and Heriot-Watt have been discussing for several months now the creation of ‘The Edinburgh Centre for Climate Change’ (ECCC). This Centre will be a collaborative venture to attract to Edinburgh high-quality research funding and postgraduate students in the broad and multi-disciplinary fields of study on ‘Climate Change’ and the centre will act as a portal for the relevant research activities and PG taught courses in the two Universities.
An Information Event is taking place to allow any interested Heriot-Watt staff members to find out more on what opportunities the ECCC will provide in relation to Heriot-Watt activities. Several members of the ECCC Executive and Steering Committee will be available to respond to questions. This is prior to an open-to-the-public ‘Town’ meeting to be held on 29 April.
All staff are welcome to attend this event which takes place on Wednesday 21 April in Room 2.02 of the Postgraduate Centre from 10.15-11.15.
Venue: Room 2.02, Postgraduate Centre
Start Time: 10:15
End Time: 11:15
