Infrastructure & Transport Seminar Series: A Travel Plan for Heriot-Watt

Professor Angela Hull will be giving the seminar titled “A Travel Plan for Heriot-Watt”. This event will explore the contribution that Universities are making to reduce their own global footprint through travel resource efficiency.
The focus will be on factors influencing people’s choice of travel mode through an examination of the main factors affecting individual behaviour; mechanisms aimed at influencing the demand for transport; and ways of influencing travel mode choice.
Participants will review the success of travel plans in Norfolk and Malmö before identifying the opportunities for behaviour change at Heriot-Watt University.
