This development workshop for academic and research staff is the first in a set of three interlinked workshops providing a comprehensive introduction to successfully obtaining research funding.

This interactive workshop will include advice and discussion on
• An overview of the research funding processes
• An introduction to the different research funding available and the different approaches required by different funders
• An overview of the standard sections in a funding application with discussion as to what information is required in each section
• An introduction as to how the review and evaluation process works
• Many hints and tips on what makes some research funding proposals stand out from the rest!
