Learning and Teaching Oscars 2011
The second annual Student Union Learning and Teaching Oscars took place recently.
This was a prestigious event attended by around 80 guests made up of the University Senior Management team, academic and support staff from across all the schools, guests from sector agencies such as the Higher Education Academy and NUS Scotland and of course, students.
The Learning and Teaching Oscars are entirely student led and look to recognise and reward best practise in education delivery.
This year the Union received over 850 nominations from students about their staff members, a large increase on the number of nominations received last year, clearly showing the value that students place in these awards.
