Museum Re-Launch

A reception, hosted by the Principal, was held on Thursday 26th January 2012 to officially mark the re-opening of the newly refurbished University Museum.

The reception was an opportunity to celebrate the re-launch of the University Museum and for people to learn more about the work of the Museum and the Heritage and Information Governance Service (formerly known as the Archive, Records Management and Museum Service). The Principal thanked all those involved in the transformation of the Museum and welcomed the new temporary exhibition, Trailblazers: two centuries of Learning at Heriot-Watt, which features inspiring innovations, past and present, from each School and Institutes.

The Museum is open to the public from 1pm – 4pm Mondays and Tuesdays and admission is free. The Museum is located in the Mary Burton Centre, Level 1, Cameron Smail Library at the Edinburgh Campus.
