Professional development workshops for staff

We invite any interested members of staff to participate in their choice of the following workshops taking place over the next few months.

Career Thinking Programme – take control of your career.
The aim of the programme is to give you the skills and tools to actively manage your career. It involves considering what "satisfaction" means to you and being prepared for opportunities when they come along, making sure you have the right skills and attitude needed to take advantage of them.

Chairing Successful Meetings.
For individuals who wish to gain confidence in chairing meetings or who are new to chairing committees this workshop covers identifying why meetings ‘fail’ or ‘succeed’ in their purpose and appreciating the importance of working with the committee clerk/secretary.

Planning for a Financially Secure Future
This course aims to give you information, knowledge and the opportunity to discuss key financial and legal planning issues to help you plan for a financially secure future.

Clarity & Impact: Effective Report Writing
For individuals who want improve the documents they produce. Identify ways to improve business documents and slides. Discover better use of tables, graphs, words and document design. Work through a toolkit of simple tips, ideas and techniques to help you afterwards
